The Adelanto industrial area, 2 miles west of Highway 395, has attracted many new cannabis related development projects including a property bordering the subject site.
In late 2016, the City of Adelanto approved the High Desert’s first Cannabis Cultivation zone, designating two industrial parks west of Highway 395 to host the newly permitted uses. With unprecedented property sales in the zone, the goal to raise city funding far surpassed expectations.
