Huy Fong Foods, the makers of the well known Sriracha hot sauce, are looking to move from their current location in Irwindale, CA. The massive company has been met with some opposition by locals claiming the facility puts a chili scent into the air but the South Coast Air Quality Management District found no violations. The city of Hesperia is making an effort to keep the massive company in California, proposing a new plant to be built within Hesperia’s industrial zone. The plant is looking to Texas as an option as well.
