Aemerge RedPak will construct a 37,700 SF facility that will use energy efficient patented technology – the “Carbonizer” — to treat medical waste. Relocating to Hesperia from Indiana, this will be the only permitted facility in the state able to treat all types of medical waste as regulated by the California Department of Public Health. The project is located in the industrial zone of Hesperia north of Main Street on E Ave. When the facility is full operational it is expected to add 20 new well-paying jobs to the area in addition to the jobs needed for the building construction.
